This chapter describes how to activate a subscription for a new customer.

  • You have registered as a Siemens ID User.
  • You have ordered a subscription and received an email with activation ID or entitlement ID.
  • You have received an email with your license and subscription.
  1. Select User menu > Add company.

As a new subscriber, you can also use the Subscribe now button to access the Company wizard.

  • The wizard to set up your company and subscription opens.
  1. Under Company, enter the Company name, select the Country and enter the Address.
  1. Select Continue.
  1. Under Terms, select the checkbox to accept the access agreement.

Terms and conditions are specific to your country.

  1. Select Continue.
  1. Under Activation, enter the Activation / Entitlement ID from your email.
  • The ID is automatically verified.
  1. Once the entitlement ID is verified, select Continue.
  1. Under Products, select the features you want to activate.
  1. Select Continue.
  1. Under Review, review the details of your subscription.
  1. To confirm your selection and activate the subscription, select Activate.
  • The Company created dialog displays. From here, you have the following options:
  • Invite user: Invite users to the company you had just created. See Inviting users.
  • User groups: Create user groups. See Creating a new user group.
  • Create partitions: Create partitions. See Creating a new partition.
  • Open overview: Continue to the Overview.
  • Postpone: Proceed to the Overview.
