Using the budget calculator - Online Help

To use the budget calculator and therefore using historical reference data, carry out the following instructions:

• The reference year contains data.

1. Select  Launchpad >  Energy Manager.

2. Select Configuration in the vertical navigation.

3. Select the site you want to edit in the dropdown list.

4. Select the More button on the right side of your recorded budget in the Budgets pane.
   If you cannot see the More button, use the scroll bar at the bottom of the Budgets pane.

5. Select Edit.

• The Edit budget - Set up wizard opens.

6. Select Next.

• The Edit budget - Specify wizard opens.

7. In the Calculate section, select the Reference year. The actual data of the selected reference year will be used to define each month's new budget.

8. Enter the Annual savings percentage or use the arrows to adjust the value.
   Example: The annual budget is set to 100 kWh. The Annual savings is set to 2%. The annual budget will be adapted to 98 (98% of 100).
   Enter 0 if you want to use the actual data of the reference year as your new budget without any adjustments.

9. Select Apply.

• The calculated annual budget values are entered in the Annual budget field.

If the reference year does not contain data, an error message is displayed and the values will not be adjusted.
