Some functions are only available with both a specific user role and Customer Administrator platform role. Different roles can be combined by adding a user to both user groups.

All roles include the following access to the Building X platform apps:

Accounts

  • View Company overview
  • Edit your own profile
  • Delete your own memberships
  • Manage your notification preferences and time zone

Devices

Depending on your region, the Devices app may not be available.

  • Add, edit and delete sites
  • Add, edit, remove and delete devices
  • Reset password of Edge Gateways
  • Restart Edge Gateways
  • Display executed services on Edge Gateways
  • Install or update firmware and OS on Edge Gateway
  • Assign distributions to Edge Gateways
  • Install and uninstall Edge apps on Edge Gateways
  • Subscribe for Edge Gateway online and offline notification
