Location of the Image on the disk drive - Configuration - Installation

In case of downloading and installing a new Connect Software:

• The Disk Image for the Connect Software is saved to this location: C:\ProgramData\Siemens\ConnectSoftware\Disk\
• The Disk Drive for the Connect Software is saved to this location: C:\ProgramData\Siemens\ConnectSoftware\VMHDD\

These locations are set by default during the automated setup process and cannot be changed or modified.

In case of installing a new Connect Software with a local image already available:

• The Connect Software Disk Image and Disk Drive locations can be configured by the user during the setup or directly from the Hyper-V manager settings. Please contact your local Siemens Customer Support Center if you need additional information.
