1. Open a Web Browser (Chrome is recommended) and type in the IP address provided in the web console.

IP address must be typed in Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) format. Example https://192.XXX.XXX.XXX

  1. Select Enter.
  • Connect Software local user interface displays.
  1. Enter following login credentials:
  • Username: admin (case-sensitive).
  • Password: admin (case-sensitive).
  1. In Connect Software landing page, select Accept to verify you have acknowledged the End User License Agreement (EULA).
  1. Complete the prompt to change the default password. This password is specific to Connect Software you are logged in to. Select a password that complies with the following guidelines:
  • At least 8 characters.
  • Uppercase and lowercase letters.
  • Numbers.
  • Special characters.
  1. Select Change Password.
  • A new password is created.
  1. Sign in again with the newly created password.
  • Connect Software local user interface displays.

For single network mode configuration, Connect Software Virtual Machine relies on the host system for the networking setup. The interface is assigned during installation, and its IP address is controlled by the host system itself. Connect Software does not allow you to modify or set the IP address for the assigned interfaces.

The internal network security features of Connect Software, block by default, all traffic on incoming ports, for all network mode configurations, except for the standard system ports. Outgoing traffic is allowed on all ports.
