Navigation bar

Based on user profile, a user can switch to:

  • Accounts (formerly Account Manager), Devices (formerly Asset Manager), or other Cloud apps.
  • another site
  • another organization
  • user information
  • Help

Status Toolbar

Displays an overview of the states of all registered sites. Also acts as a filter to display only sites with a specific state in the map overview and site list

Map overview

Displays all sites registered in the Cloud. The size of the map can vary based on the various facilities and may be limited to one country.

Search field

The site filter searches by site name and/or address.

The text filter filters all sites by the entered term. A search query always applies to multiple columns.

Site list

Displays all sites registered in the Cloud as a list. Colors and symbols indicate the general state of the applicable site.

Site information

Indicates the current site details. The Site-ID or applicable security norms EN, UL or ULC can be edited or changed.

Event details

Displays detailed information on the selected event. It is only displayed when a specific event is selected.

INFO: Does not display all user-relevant information. Higher user rights are required to view all event details, e.g. Element info or Event ID.

Switch to another application:

  • Device INFO: Devices and test plan reports are only displayed when the site supports the function.

  • Test plans INFO: Devices and test plan reports are only displayed when the site supports the function.

Search window

The event filter filters by event categories.

The text filter all events by the entered text. A search query always applies to multiple columns.

For example, a search by Zone 1 searches the text in all columns, displaying results for Zone 1 and Zone 11.

Event list

Displays all site events in a list. The color of the event type indicates the corresponding event category (urgency).

Device list

The device list displays all the devices belonging to this site. Customized test plans can be created from the device list.

Opens the device list for the site.

Hierarchy browser

Displays the plant hierarchy of the devices:

  • EN = Area – Section – Zone
  • UL = Hardware structure

Click another hierarchy level to display subordinate devices.

Meters

Displays the devices selected for the test plan as well as the total number of devices.

Device filter

The text filter applies to the Description. If you enter, for example, text 30, the results from all the columns are listed, including "301". Other filters include: Model, Last tested, State, and Next due test.

Device list

Displays detailed information on zones and devices.

Type

Displays the Device type.

Address

Depending on the selected hierarchy level, either zone addresses, or device addresses are displayed.

Model

Displays the device type.

Last tested

Displays the date of the last conducted test. It displays regardless of the test results.

The symbol displays the test state from the sum of the subordinate information.

Next due test

Displays the next test date. The default is 365 days to next test. The value may vary depending on national regulations. N/A during the initial commissioning of a site means that device data on the building must be updated.

Create

The selected devices can be added to a new or existing test plan. Device data must be updated during initial commissioning of a site.

Site report option

Generates a site report on the device information.

Synchronize

Synchronizes the data between the devices and Sinteso Portal.

Show

Displays details on the device. The details are listed in the following table.

The selected device can be added to a test plan or removed.

Overview

  • Displays the detector type.
  • Displays the device name and address.
  • Displays the hierarchical device address.
  • Displays the device model as well as detector type Automatic or Manual.

Information

  • Displays the hierarchical customer text structure.

Test result

  • Displays the remaining days until testing.
  • Displays the date the detector was last manually tested.
  • Displays the date the detector was last tested in the test plan.

INFO: indicates a manual update of device data. This is the case, for example, when a site is commissioned for the first time.

Test plan

The test plan list displays all the test plans belonging to this site. The test plans can be edited, copied, and deleted. The state must be set to open before the devices can be tested as per the test plan.

Type and source of hazard

Only fire engineers and fire administrators can see the test plans.

Test plan filter

The text filter applies to columns State, Test plan name, and Assigned to. If you enter, for example, "1", the results from all three columns, as well as result "14" are listed.

Test plan list

Displays detailed information on the test plans.

State

Indicates the state of test plans: New, Open, or Closed.

Test plan name

Displays detailed information on zones and devices.

Assigned To

Displays the email address of the desired tester.

Last modified

Displays when the test plan was last edited.

Progress

Graphically displays the text plan state.

Comment

Displays any comments in the test plan.

Sync

Sync updates the list and reads the information from the fire control panels.

Permits editing, duplicating, or deleting of a test plan. Note: A closed test plan cannot be deleted.

Set data and time format

The browser settings determine the date/time display. The settings can be edited and managed in the Chrome browser at Google Chrome > Settings > Advanced > Languages > Language.

User language

The user language can be Portal set prior to logging on to Sinteso Portal. Sinteso Portal reports and information from the fire control panel are displayed in the selected language (where available).
