Advanced Filtering
A user wants to filter the context-based alarm list and acknowledge all active alarms.
Consequences
- From the Alarms tab of the Alarms app, select “Basic” to switch to the Advanced view.
- To the right of the search bar, the Basic button will appear, which will return users to the Basic view when selected.
- From the Advanced view, select inside the search bar to view the dropdown filter list. In this case, users would first select Acknowledgment state.
Once an option is successfully chosen, it may not be changed for that filter.
- A dropdown displays acknowledged and unacknowledged.
- Select an acknowledgment state from the dropdown.
- The acknowledgement filter tag appears within a grey box inside the search bar (select x next to tag to remove).
- Again, select inside the white area of the search bar. This time select Alarm State and choose an option from the dropdown menu.
- The alarm state filter tag appears within a grey box inside the search bar (select x at right-end of search bar to clear all).
- Finally, click inside the white area of the search bar and select Apply Search Criteria
- A query will run on the alarms list, returning all alarms matching the applied filter tags. If no alarms matching the query criteria are found, the message “no alarms that match filter” will be returned.
