In order to sync the schedules made in Niagara (to be read and written), treat them as normal Niagara points that need to be tagged and imported in the data base.

How to sync Niagara Schedules

  1. Make sure that the Niagara Schedule has an nHaystack slot and is under equipment.
  1. The Schedule needs to be in a similar structure.
The equip is in the same location with the schedule so it can point under an equipment in Desigo Optic side.
  1. Drag-and-drop in the nHaystack service.
  1. Create a connection to the Niagara Server in the DB Builder App -> Connectors tree and import point from connector.
Niagara -create connection to Niagara server.
  1. Select the schedule point.
  1. In the properties, enable the Schedule section to make it schedulable, select the priority level (default is 15) and then click Save.
  1. Create a tuning policy for the point that has Write Schedule enabled for it.
This tuning policy should only be specific to these points. How to create one is explained here.

Make sure to enable Write Schedule for it or manually add the writeSchedule tag on the policy.

  1. Once the tuning policy has been assigned to the point, create a schedule and add point to schedule.
  1. If a schedule is already created, select it from the scheduleRef property and then click Save.
You can do that either through the Schedules Tree or Add Points to Schedule tool.
Niagara - create a schedule.

The schedule in the Niagara side will not update until there is a change made to the schedule (COV).

It is very important that the schedule point from the Niagara default output is the same as the schedule in which it is added in Desigo Optic.
