Field Support Technician Assistance Required

Due to the highly technical nature of the following procedures involving API calls, it is highly recommended to seek the assistance of a field support technician to provide guidance through the process. Failure to do so may result in incorrect setup and system dysfunction.

Procedural Overview

  • The following provides an overview for existing Desigo Optic OPT subscribers who wish to migrate their data to an SBS subscription. NOTICE! If you are a new user, see the online help guide for setting up a new SBS accountNOTICE! before proceeding directly to Creating a New SiteNOTICE! .
  • To use Desigo Optic with Building X as an existing user, you will need to migrate your Optic instance from the default OPT subscription to the SBS subscription.

Procedure Steps

  • You have purchased a SBS subscription containing Operations Manager and Data Setup, found in your launchpad.
Navigate to All Partitions and change the subscription assigned to your partition.
  • You have successfully migrated your OPT partition to the new SBS subscription. In your launchpad, you will now find the following apps: Data Setup and Operations Manager.

Next: You will install and configure Cloud Connector, an app enabling synchronization between Desigo Optic and Building X.
