Verifying license maintenance

License maintenance

To utilize FIN 5, the legacy license must be updated. Updating a legacy FIN license to be compatible with FIN 5 is free as long as its maintenance is up-to-date. Contact sales@j2inn.com for questions about license maintenance or license upgrades.

Software update

Once the client has received a copy of their FIN 5 license, we recommend that they install the latest FIN 5 software. Installation can take place during migration.

Database migration

A legacy project database must be migrated to a current format to be compatible with the FIN 5 software. J2 will provide database migration support services to complete the upgrades from FIN 4 to FIN 5. FIN 3 will require re-engineering and should be discussed with the sales team. License maintenance must be purchased and up-to-date before any J2 migration support services can begin.
