Changing the heap size - Start-up

The default heap size for the Desigo_Optic5 service is 512 MB. Use this procedure to allocate more memory to the service.

WINDOWS OS

1. Right-click on the Desigo Optic icon and select Configure.

• The Desigo_Optic5 service Properties dialog box displays.

2. Select the Java tab.

3. Change the Maximum memory pool field to the desired size and click Apply.
   For example: Enter 8192. It is best to increase in increments of 512.

4. Stop and start the Desigo Optic service for the change to take effect.
