The TOOL-ELTEST tool is composed of a case and three connection cables.
Testing a solenoid actuator
The left toggle switch is used to simulate if the solenoid actuator is mounted on the cylinder valve or not. The right toggle switch is used to simulate if the actuator is mechanically blocked. A 24 V DC electrical signal can be sent from the control panel to check that the actuator has been actuated (the red light turns on). The voltage of the signal can be measured using a multimeter connected on the test device.
Testing the pressure switch
The green push button is used to simulate the gas flow in the discharge network. A message displayed on the control panel confirms the gas flow (extinguishing system activated).
