- The responsible sales agent/Siemens representative creates the shopping cart with the requested Building X applications and subscriptions.
- The designated administrator in your company is responsible for reviewing the Building X offering and entering the service account details.
- The responsible sales agent/Siemens representative sends the shopping cart link to the designated contact person in your company.
- Your designated contact person receives the shopping cart and logs in with a Siemens ID.
- The designated cloud account administrator in your company reviews the Building X order in the shopping cart and enters the digital service account details:
- a.) PO Number (Purchase Order Number): The PO number lets the customer identify the subscription charge on the invoice. The PO Number is printed on the invoice with the subscription details and charge.
- b.) Cloud Account Name: The Cloud Account Name is the name given to the Building X Account. The Cloud Account name is visible when Building X applications and services are used.
- c.) Cloud Account Admin Name + Email Address: The cloud account administrator is the first user invited to use the Building X application(s). This person is the administrator of the cloud account and can add additional users to the Building X Accounts.
- Your designated admin reviews and accepts the terms and conditions and confirms the order.
The subscription for the cloud account is activated automatically. The stated cloud account administrator receives an invitation email to use the subscription. The cloud account admin can access their Building X account and start managing users and access. Your company contact(s) for ordering and billing receives an order confirmation and the invoice for the subscription via email.
Ordering via LMS
Building X Engineering Tool access licenses can be ordered via the standard LMS process. The licenses ordered via LMS are not going to be compatible with the others Building X applications.
Preferably, order the Building X Engineering Tool licenses via the Subscription Manager and only use LMS in case the Subscription Manager is not yet available in your country.
