An open circuit or short circuit on a connection to one connected PT2009-A1 affects just this PT2009-A1. Other PT2009-A1 still work properly.

There are 2 variants to create a complete redundant connection to PT2009-A1.

These wirings can be utilized in standard and evacuation use cases.

Variant A

Open circuit or short circuit redundant wiring of multiple PT2009-A1 with PTO2008-A1

1

Cerberus PACE Compact cabinet

2

External 'Desk call station (RS485, 8+1)' PT2009-A1 with accessories

3

'MeanWell SD-50B-24 DC/DC Converter (50W)' PCA2011-A1 or 'MeanWell SD-100B-24 DC/DC Converter (100W)' PCA2018-A1

4

'Ground fault monitoring (24V)' PCA2001-A1

5

'ICPDAS I-7510 (RS485, isolated)' PNA2009-A1

6

'Call station interface (RS485)' PTO2008-A1

7

Wiring to PTO2008-A1

8

Copper Ethernet cable (CAT5) with RJ45 connector, connecting PTO2008-A1 to PT2009-A1

The connected PT2009-A1 analog audio input channel must be connected to separate analog audio inputs or separate digital audio matrices.

An open circuit or short circuit outside the cabinet affects only the adjacently-connected PT2009-A1.

Variant B

Open circuit or short circuit redundant wiring of multiple PT2009-A1 with PN1002-A1 or PN2009-A1

1

Cerberus PACE Compact cabinet

2

External 'Desk call station (RS485, 8+1)' PT2009-A1 with accessories

3

'RS485 module (1 port)' PN1002-A1 or

'RS485 module (1 port, DIN rail)' PN2009-A1

4

Wiring to PN2009-A1

5

Copper Ethernet cable (CAT5) with RJ45 connector, connecting PT2009-A1 to PN2009-A1

An open circuit or short circuit outside the cabinet affects only the adjacently-connected PT2009-A1.
