To build an open circuit redundant wiring with multiple PT2009-A1, use multiple PTO2008-A1 with 24 V and separately connected isolated RS485, analog audio input, and analog audio output.
Variant A with PT2009-A1, PCA2001-A1 and PNA2009-A1
1 | Cerberus PACE Compact cabinet |
2 | 3x external 'Desk call station (RS485, 8+1)' PT2009-A1 with accessories |
3 | 'MeanWell SD-50B-24 DC/DC Converter (50W)' PCA2011-A1 or 'MeanWell SD-100B-24 DC/DC Converter (100W)' PCA2018-A1 |
4 | 'Ground fault monitoring (24V)' PCA2001-A1 |
5 | 'ICPDAS I-7510 (RS485, isolated)' PNA2009-A1 |
6 | 3x 'Call station interface (RS485)' PTO2008-A1 |
7 | Wiring to the first PTO2008-A1 |
8 | Copper Ethernet cable (CAT5) with RJ45 connector, connecting one PTO2008-A1 to the next |
9 | Copper Ethernet cable (CAT5) with RJ45 connector, connecting PTO2008-A1 to PT2009-A1 |
Variant B with PN1002-A1 or PN2009-A1
1 | Cerberus PACE Compact cabinet |
2 | External 'Desk call station (RS485, 8+1)' PT2009-A1 with accessories |
6 | 3x 'Call station interface (RS485)' PTO2008-A1 |
7 | Wiring to the first PTO2008-A1 |
8 | Copper Ethernet cable (CAT5) with RJ45 connector, connecting one PTO2008-A1 to the next |
9 | Copper Ethernet cable (CAT5) with RJ45 connector, connecting PTO2008-A1 to PT2009-A1 |
10 | 'RS485 module (1 port)' PN1002-A1 or 'RS485 module (1 port, DIN rail)' PN2009-A1 |
11 | Wiring to PN2009-A1 |
12 | Copper Ethernet cable (CAT5) with RJ45 connector, connecting PN2009-A1 to PTO2008-A1 |
Both variants display a redundant wiring example of multiple PT2009-A1 being connected to one cabinet. This wiring can be utilized in standard and evacuation use cases.
All the connected PT2009-A1 share one analog audio input channel. Therefore, only one PT2009-A1 can be active at the same time.
An open circuit outside the cabinet affects only the adjacently-connected PT2009-A1.
A short circuit outside the cabinet affects all connected PT2009-A1.
