There are two different types of schedule points and you need to know which need the writeSchedule tag on the tuning policy:

  • Assigning Tuning Policy to a Connector
  • Tuning Policy tools

Regular Boolean points should NOT have the writeSchedule tag on the tuning policy.

Schedule Object points should have the writeSchedule tag on the tuning policy.

If the tuning policy has a writeSchedule tag, it sends the whole schedule data, which schedule objects know how to handle it, whereas normal boolean points do not.

To view tuning policies, enter connTuning in Folio App.
