The thermostat can operate in different modes:
- OFF vs. HEAT. If the space is not occupied for a long time, you can switch the thermostat to “OFF” instead of keeping the thermostat running under the “HEAT” mode. The thermostat will only ensure that the room temperature does not drop below the protection temperature setpoint.
- At home vs. AWAY. Use “AWAY” when the space is not occupied for a few days. The thermostat will always maintain the “Unoccupied” temperature setpoint.
