You can create a work order in three different ways:
From fault details page
The Create work order button remains inactive if faults are in Resolved or False positive state.
- You are on the Fault details page.
- Select Create work order.
- The Create work order dialog displays.
- Select Create.
If the work order request is successful, the fault status changes from New to In progress and creates a work order id.
If the work order id is not received within 12 hours, a warning message prompts you to select Retry.
If the work order request is failed, the fault status changes from New to In progress and displays a notification to retry again.
From summary section
- You are on the Fault details page.
- In Summary section, change the status of the fault from New to In progress.
- The Change status dialog displays.
- (Optional) Select Create work order checkbox.
- Add a comment in the comment box.
- Select Change.
From faults and diagnostics page
- You are on the Faults and diagnostics page.
- Select a fault from the list of faults.
- From the dropdown list of the Change status, change the status from New to In progress.
- The Change status dialog displays.
- (Optional) Select Create work order checkbox.
- Add a comment in the comment box.
- Select Change.
