The Faults page displays the faults generated in the system. You can filter faults according to their status values such as All, Open, or Closed or according to their severity levels (High, Medium, or Low). You can also filter the displayed fault data according to the desired timeframe using the calendar.

The Faults page follows the site time zone, not the local time zone.

  1. Summary bar: Summarizes the total number of Open faults detected for the selected site. The severity levels (High, Medium, Low) act as filters and display data according to your selection. The color coding for the different severity levels is as follows.
    • High
    • Medium
    • Low
  2. Status: Faults are categorized according to the following status values:
    • All
    • Open: New, In progress and On hold
    • Closed: False positive and Resolved
  3. Change status: The Change status dropdown list is enabled after selecting at least one fault from the fault list. Only the status of open faults can be changed.

Fault details

After selecting a fault from the table, the fault details display.

  1. Description: Displays the severity, status, equipment, location, source status, last rule run, and fault ID.
  2. Fault and trend Chart: The chart represents the data with respect to occurrences and time in faulty state.
  3. Create work order: Creates a new work order for the selected fault.
  4. Activity: Displays a list of activities with names and timestamps. You can also add comments in the comment box. A maximum of 50 comments can be added to a fault.
  5. Analysis: Displays the Details of the fault and the Possible causes.
  6. Fault timeline: Displays a bar chart with red and white color to visualize the occurrence of the fault from the first detection to the current time (following the time zone of the site).
  7. Work order: Displays the work order id and status.

Fault and trend Chart

The chart represents fault details in a line format with respect to fault occurrences and fault duration. You can zoom in or out on the chart and export the data.

With the More button, the data for each fault can be exported as CSV, XLSX or PDF format.
