Triggers or user-defined events are events that are configured to perform predefined actions, for example, starting or stopping video recordings when you receive an alarm. Triggers can be created in VMS management client and can be performed from both VMS management client and Siveillance Control.
Synchronizing Triggers
To synchronize triggers, perform the following steps:
- The Video Configuration perspective is displayed.
- The VMS connection has been established.
- Right-click the VMS connection and select Disconnect.
- Click Connect.
- The latest triggers are synchronized.
Performing VMS Triggers
To perform VMS triggers from Siveillance Control, perform the following steps.
- The Video Configuration/Engineering/Single/+3/+5 perspective is displayed.
- The latest triggers have been synchronized.
- To perform a single trigger, perform the following step:
- Either in the Video Configuration tree or System Tree, right-click a trigger and select Activate Trigger.
- To perform multiple triggers, perform the following steps:
- To select multiple triggers from the Video Configuration tree or the System Tree, select a trigger.
- Press Ctrl and select additional triggers.
- Right-click and select Activate Trigger.
