Connect X300 can be used in combination with 4G wireless devices. A dongle can be used during installation and testing, or as connection backup. For a robust network, a cable-connected industrial router is strongly recommended. For security reasons it is recommended to use network mode 4G only.
Please check the compatibility of a chosen 4G wireless device with the intended Internet Service Provider (i.e. compatibility of regional 4G frequency bands).
