Pressurized room and pressurized room with thermal power

This application type uses the room automation room/segment structure. The application type handles multiple segments that can be connected to multiple controllers. It applies to room coordination functions, HVAC coordination functions, HVAC device components and connects to central functions with room automation group data definitions.

The application architecture defines a room as equivalent to a temperature control zone. Multiple terminals serve one pressurization control zone if they are also in the same temperature control zone.

One segment may include a supply terminal, an extract terminal, or both. A segment may not include two supply terminals or two extract terminals.

The DXR2.E17C controls one segment and the DXR2.E17CX controls two segments. Both room automation stations can coordinate multiple segments.

The room pressurization application types coordinate up to 20 fume hoods in one room.

Fume hood

This fume hood control application type fits into the room automation application architecture as a segment, not a full room/segment application. The application type implements stand alone control for a fume hood and is designed for use with one automation station dedicated to one hood.
