In general, installing Debian on virtual machines works the same way as the installation on a computer, but with additional requirements.
- When creating the Guest operating system, Other Linux (64-bit) has been selected.
- Both the EE and RT server VM fulfill the following requirements: 100 GB HDD, 2 cores, 16 GB RAM.
- Mount the Debian ISO file in the DVD drive of the virtual machine. For more information refer to: Mounting Debian ISO File in VMware vSphere/ESXi (Hypervisor Type 1).
- Complete the installation of Debian.
