The service script siveillancecontrol is
available on the Siveillance Control servers.
Siveillance Control Service Script
The basic script is siveillancecontrol [option] [parameter].

| Starts the Siveillance Control service and all required services, such as the JBoss service and the PostgreSQL service. Parameter |

| Restarts the server. If the server is already started, it will shut down and restart. Parameter |

| Stops the JBoss Siveillance Control server. The required services remain active. |

| Displays the status of the Siveillance Control server and required services, such as ActiveMQ, PostgreSQL, Blob and Nginx. The status output is: current status |

| Creates a backup of the Siveillance Control database. |

| Displays parameter information. |
|
| Migrates from a Siveillance Control version ≥1.3. |
|
| Restores a Siveillance Control database. |
|
| Creates a Siveillance Control site. |
|
| Shows the version of Siveillance Control. |
|
| Compiles relevant data for an error report, which is saved in a zipped archive file. When –b switch is given, also creates backup of database. |
Using Additional Scripts
Other scripts are available for example for generating certificates.
- To generate or regenerate certificates, enter the following command:
/usr/share/viewpoint/bin/makejks.sh -f
