WARNING
No changes permitted

No product modifications permitted.

Pre-mounting:

  • Check that the threads are not damaged and are free of dirt, grease and adhesive residues.
WARNING
Transmission of incorrect signals

To prevent any transmission of incorrect signals, do not change the setting of the limit switches.

To mount the product:

  • Check that the mounting support is stable.
NOTICE! Do not mount the product on a machine part. Mount the product only on a wall construction.
  • The product can be mounted in any position.

  • When using a Quantum fitting, make sure not to damage the O-Ring.
  • When mounting the selector valve on standard piping, use an appropriate sealant upstream and downstream of the selector valve.
  • If the selector valve is mounted on the piping through its internal threads, counterhold the threaded connections of the ball valve during mounting to avoid tightening or loosening them.
  • Follow the gas flow direction.
  • Connect port [4] to the pilot circuit using the following fittings:
    FIT-905 and FIT-906: G1", G1 1/4", G2", and G3” selector valves
    FIT-903: G4" selector valve
NOTICE! Port [3] is fitted with a sintered filter. Never close completely this port.
  • For the electrical connection of the valve and the monitoring of its position, only use resistors that are compatible with the ECP used.

Limit switches

Idle state:

  • Selector valve is closed
  • Contacts 2 and 3 are closed, lower limit switch is depressed
  • Contacts 2 and 3 open as soon as the selector valve opens by approximately 3°

In case of fire:

  • Selector valve is open
  • Contacts 5 and 6 are closed, upper limit switch is depressed
  • Contacts 2 and 3 open as soon as the selector valve closes by approximately 3°

The circuit diagram below illustrates the position of the limit switches and the position indicator.
