WARNING
Risk of dirt ingress

Ingress of dirt in the horn may cause the pneumatic alarm horn to fail.

  1. Ensure that the horn always points downwards to limit dirt ingress.
  1. Check that the pneumatic alarm horn is marked with all requested identification symbols.
  2. Blow out the pilot line with compressed air, nitrogen, or CO2.
  3. Mount the pneumatic alarm horn with the horn part pointing downwards or at maximum horizontally.

The pneumatic alarm horn can be mounted:

  • With a metal plate with a U-shaped opening using the nut and lock washer from the alarm horn, or

Avoid dirt ingress into the horn during either mounting procedure.
