User interface

The user interface automatically adjusts to fit your screen width and orientation. The following figures and legend outline the basic layouts.

NOTICE

The available functions in the user interface depend on the user permissions and on the Desigo Control Point device.

① Main menu

Setting	Description
Operation	Access to the engineered views of the integrated data points.
Events	Displays active alarms and alarm history and allows you to send alarm notification emails. When the Events indicator is displayed, click to display any pending acknowledgments for the currently selected building element. Events
Object view	Access to the generic data point lists, root icon, and breadcrumb navigation. The generic data point list also provides a graphical operation of the scheduler. Object view
Configuration	Submenus allow you to navigate, view, and engineer different device functions. Configuration
	Displays the date and time.

Corporate information	Redirects you to a new web browser displays all corporate information.

The Account menu icon displays the first initial of the logged in user’s name.

Setting	Description
Settings	Keep room user logged in The effect of this toggle depends on the role of the currently logged-in user. The setting of this toggle persists until the cache is cleared. Managing automatic logout Show unused objects Toggle ON to display unused objects during the current session. Maximum multistate values Allows you to enter a number of multistate value objects.
Account	Allows the currently logged in user to modify settings for their own account. Click  to save your changes.
	User name and User role	Cannot be modified.
	Language	Select the user interface language.
	Date format	Select a date format. For example, DD.MM.YYYY, YYYY/MM/DD or MM-DD-YYYY.
	Time format	Select the 24h or 12h time format.
	Change password	Click Change password to display the password fields. Enter your current password. Type and confirm a password that complies with the password policy for your site. Click Save to save the new password.
Log out	Logs the current user out of Desigo Control Point.

Setting	Description
Plant view	Displays customized and standard graphics with real-time data point values and status updates. Plant view
Scheduler	Configures the schedule program and creates exceptions for existing schedules. Scheduler
List view	Changes data point values and places data points out-of-service. List view
Trends	Displays a graphic view of collected trend data and allows you to configure trend exports. Trends
Reports	Generates reports and exports report data. Reports
Documents	Allows users to view and download files that are saved on the Desigo Control Point device. Documents

Setting	Description
Root	Click to clear the breadcrumb navigation list and display the top level of the building hierarchy.
Breadcrumb navigation	Select an item in the breadcrumb list to return to that level of the building hierarchy.

Setting	Description
	Access the Tools and Settings panes. The options displayed depend on the role of the currently logged in user. Tools and Settings
 Tools	Provides tasks that are specific to each core function.
 Settings	Provides general functions for configuring a Desigo Control Point device.

Setting	Description
Work area	Provides functions for working with data points. Information displayed depends on the selected menu and the position in the building hierarchy.

If Favorites have been set up on a touch panel, swipe down to display the URL bar and tap to display the available pages.
