With the FDUD remote screen, you can operate the detector exchanger and tester from your smartphone without having to remove it from the peripheral device. The virtual detector exchanger and tester operating elements required for this appear on the FDUD remote screen.
Establishing a Bluetooth connection with the detector exchanger and tester
You will find information about establishing a Bluetooth connection between the smartphone and the detector exchanger and tester in chapter 'Connecting the smartphone to the detector exchanger and tester'.

Operating the detector exchanger and tester via the FDUD remote screen

1 | Virtual display | 2 | Virtual buttons |
You can also operate the detector exchanger and tester functions using the virtual buttons (2) on the FDUD remote screen; this is similar to using the physical buttons on the detector exchanger and tester. The virtual display (1) for the detector exchanger and tester also appears in the top part of the FDUD remote screen for this.
Restriction: The number buttons are not displayed in full. Only the '5' number button is available on the FDUD remote screen. With this, communication with peripheral devices can be triggered manually, e.g., for point detectors that are difficult to access and onto which the detector exchanger and tester cannot be docked.
You will find information about the button functions and functions of the detector exchanger and tester in the document with the document ID '007227'. See the 'Applicable documents' section for this.
