The PT2002 'Fire brigade call station (AT)' can be configured according to the EN 54-16 and the 'Austrian F3033' standard.

The PT2002 can be configured without the configuration of the hook-off switch or with it ('Austrian F3033').

In the configuration without the hook-off switch, the hook-off switch is not used. When the microphone is taken from its mount, the system does not react. By pressing the <Push-To-Talk> button (PTT) all zones are silenced, a configured pre-announcement tone will be played, and the microphone is active.

In the configuration with the use of the hook-off switch ('Austrian F3033'), the system will be silenced immediately when the microphone is taken from its mount. By pressing the <Push-To-Talk> button (PTT) a configured pre-announcement tone will be played, and the microphone is active.

A timeout is required to ensure that the zones will be released after the timeout.
