DCF77 radio clocks synchronize the DCF77 time signal with the low frequency transmitter located in Mainflingen near Frankfurt, Germany. The signal is generated by control equipment from PTB Braunschweig.

The coded time message includes the current time of day, date of the month, and day of the week. It is transmitted once every minute in one-second pulses.

The UART protocol 'External Real Time Clock' supports the Meinberg standard time string format which is implemented in many of the available Meinberg devices (C51/C600RS, etc.).

You can connect each radio clock or NTP clock which supports this format.
