To open the 'Audio Modes' drop-down menu, right click on the button and move the mouse over 'Audio Modes'. The drop-down menu pops up.
'Zone Select'
A zone is a combination of outputs from several stations. A zone button can be enabled by pushing it on the keypad, or by pushing the Select all button.
If a call is started from a callstation, the audio will only be routed to the enabled zone buttons. See chapter 'Zone Select Table – Regular Keypad’.
'Select All'
All zones of the callstation will be selected.
'Select None'
All zones of the callstation will be deselected.
'Play Sound'
Plays the injected sound of the flash once to the selected zones.
Since the memory for the injected sound is limited, the audio file needs to be shorter than 4 seconds. This function is best used in combination with a gong or pre signalisation tone. Example files are provided with your 'PACE-Design' installation and are available in the following directory:
''PACE-Design' directory\Systems\Common\Default Sounds\'
See chapter 'Injected Sound'.
'Play from SD-Card'
Plays an audio file from the SD card to the selected zones. The actual firmware supports up to 255 different audio files on a SD card. Every button represents a file name stored on the card. A key press starts the playback. The audio file plays once or repeated depending on the SD card configuration. See chapter 'MicroSD Card'.
'Pause Sound'
Can be used to mute/unmute an active played audio file or to toggle between start and stop for an audio file that is being played back.
'Stop Sound'
Use this function to stop the active played audio file.
'Talk Switch'
Pressing this button enables the microphone input of the PT2001 'Desk call station (19 buttons)' and also runs an active call in the network. Pressing it again disables the microphone and deactives the call in the network.
'Talk Button'
Pressing this button enables the microphone input of the PT2001 'Desk call stat. (19 buttons)' and also runs an active call in the network. As long as the button is pressed, the call stays active.
'Talk 2 Button'
Every PT2001 'Desk call stat. (19 buttons)' has two separate analog audio inputs, one microphone and one analog audio line level input.
The analog audio line level input can be used for calls from an external audio source, for example from a GSM call module or a wireless microphone.
Pressing this button enables the second analog audio input of the PT2001 'Desk call stat. (19 buttons)' and starts an active call in the network. As long as the button is pressed, the call stays active.
This mode does not currently work for buttons on a virtual keypad.
'Record Buffer'
'Record Buffer' enables an announcement to be recorded. Press the button, hold it, and talk to the microphone. Release the button to end the recording. Maximum recording time is 60 seconds
'Listen Buffer'
'Listen Buffer' can be used to play a previously recorded audio file back through the PT2001 'Desk call stat. (19 buttons)' internal speaker.
'Play Buffer'
'Play Buffer' plays the previously recorded announcements to the selected zones.
'Disable Keypad switch'
Press the 'Disable Keypad switch' button to disable all other buttons until the switch is pressed again.
