Syntax

pt1 = COS(value1)

pt1

A point name or local variable that receives the value of the calculation.

value1

A point name, local variable, or number from which the value of the cosine is calculated.

Use

A trigonometric function that calculates the cosine of a value (value1). The result of the calculation is then stored in a defined location (pt1).

All values used with this function are expressed in degrees.
