Outer door hinge and lock reversal (if required):

  1. Note the location of the two rubber bumpers on the right side of the backbox, then remove them.
  2. Remove the upper door hinge, turn the hinge upside down, and install on the right side of the backbox. (Refer to Figure 2.)

  4. Repeat the above procedure for the lower door hinge.
  5. On the right side of the outer door, remove the ground strap. Reinstall the ground strap on the left side of the outer door. (Refer to Figure 5.)
  6. Install the rubber bumpers on the left side of the backbox. (Refer to Figure 3.)
  7. On the right side of the backbox, remove the lock bracket. Reinstall the lock bracket on the left side of the backbox. (Refer to Figure 3.)

7. Remove the plug(s) for the lock(s) on the left side of the door. On the right side of the door, remove the lock(s). Reinstall the lock(s) on the left side of the door. Reinstall the plug(s) on the right side of the door.

Install the Inner Door

  1. Insert the hinge pins on the inner door in the hinges on the backbox. (Refer to Figure 6.)

2. Insert blank plates, as needed, in unused spaces on door and secure with 10-32 nuts. (Refer to Table 1 and Figure 7.)

Models LVM and FMT, one module width each, mount to the inner door. No other modules (PSC-12 or PSC-12M/PSX-12 or PSX-12M/CC-5/CC-2) may be located behind these modules.

3. Close the inner door and secure with the ΒΌ turn fastener. (Refer to Figure 2.) The inner door can also be secured with a screw, if desired.

Install the Outer Door

  1. Insert the hinge pins on the outer door in the hinges on the backbox.
  2. Install clear, blank, or vented removable panel(s) as required and secure with 10-32 nuts. (Refer to Table 2 and Figure 8.)

3. Install the ground strap on both the inner and outer doors. (Refer to Figure 9.)

4. Close the outer door and secure with the key latch.
